General

● 5 on 5 non-contact hockey

● Zero tolerance for fighting or aggressive play

● 2 minute minor penalty

● A major penalty will result in a game injection and any more discipline will be at the

discretion of the league (including expulsion if deemed necessary)

● Icing will only be called from below the defensive teams blueline

● All faceoffs will be hurried up

● 1997 players and younger

 

Rosters

● Teams must submit a final roster 48 hours prior to their first game

● Player(s) cannot be added to a roster after their first game

● Player(s) must participate in a minimum of (1) regular season game in order to be

eligible for the playoffs

● Player(s) caught playing in the playoffs without a minimum of (1) regular season game

is considered an illegal player

● Team(s) caught playing with an illegal player(s) in the playoffs will receive an

automatic 5-0 forfeited loss

● A maximum of 20 players are allowed per team roster

 

Game Length

● 3 minute warmup, puck supplied

● 45 mins run time period

● Flood after the game

 

Equipment Rule

● Neck guard, Cage or visor mandatory for all players

● Regular Season games can end in a tie

 

Jersey Conflict

● In the event of a jersey conflict the home team must change jerseys

 

Tiebreaker Format:

● Total Points

● Wins

● Head to Head

● Goals For Minus Goals Against (Highest number advances)

● Coin Flip

Playoff Seeding and format:

● NCAA March Madness Bracket format

● 30 mins run time games

● Top Seeds receive a bye

● 3 person shootout if tied.  Sudden death to follow.  A shooter can keep shooting after the first three shooters have gone.
